Lilos Rentals operates https://www.lilosrentals.com, renting scooters, golf carts and similar vehicles and selling guided tours in Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. You can reach us at lilosrentals@gmail.com or +50664170898.

When you make a booking request we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• The dates, product and number of people for your booking
• Your pickup location, if you give one
• The country that issued your driver's licence, for vehicle rentals
• Any notes you type into the booking form

We do not collect or store payment card details on this website. Payment is arranged directly with us at the time of your rental or tour.

We use your details only to arrange, confirm and deliver the booking you asked for, and to contact you about it — usually over WhatsApp, since that is how our booking flow works. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

We use a small number of cookies:

• Language — remembers whether you chose English or Spanish.
• Referral— if you arrived through a partner agency's link, we store their code for 30 days so the agency is credited and any discount still applies.
• Analytics — we use Vercel Analytics to count page views. It only loads after you accept analytics cookies, and it does not use your data to build an advertising profile.

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

• Supabase — hosts the database your booking is stored in.
• Vercel — hosts this website and provides analytics.
• Tour operators — for a tour booking we pass your name and party size to the operator running that tour, so they can carry you.

Booking records are kept while they are commercially useful — for accounting, disputes and repeat customers. If you want your booking data deleted, email us and we will remove it unless we are legally required to keep it.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you these rights explicitly, and you may also complain to your national data protection authority. Write to lilosrentals@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
