Your guide collects you from your hotel. Settle in — the drive north crosses Guanacaste's dry forest as the sun comes up.

Arenal Volcano National Park
Hike the trails across the 1992 lava flow with the cone towering above you — or swap the hike for a peaceful boat tour on Lake Arenal with the volcano on the horizon.

Lunch at the hot springs
Arrive at Tabacón or Baldi for a full lunch before the afternoon is yours.

Thermal springs & volcano views
Hours in volcanically heated pools, waterfalls and wet bars set in rainforest gardens, with the volcano in full view.

Dinner in Tilarán
A stop in the mountain village of Tilarán for dinner on the way back down to the coast.

Back in Tamarindo
Dropped back at your hotel door.

- It is a long day with early pickup — plan a relaxed evening after.
- The volcano is often wrapped in cloud; the hot springs and park are worth it regardless.
- Cancellations 24+ hours before departure carry a 50% fee. Inside 24 hours there is no refund.
